Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

This year has been a year of change!  Here is our year in review (or in other words, everything I should have blogged about this year)...

January:

A friend and I threw a surprise birthday party for our husbands and Grayson had his 1st birthday!

February:

We got our house ready to sell...that was a big job!

March:

We flew out to California for a Sullivan family reunion in Palm Springs and Disney.

April:

Ashley entered the big 30 and Avery turned 4!  We also closed on our house and moved into our friend's basement.

May:

May was our month of last horas...Ashley went to San Francisco for a girls weekend with her sisters, we took a New York City trip with our dear friends, and we visited Williamsburg Virginia with Grandma Julia.

June:

Avery danced in her first recital.  We said lots of good-byes and moved to Germany!

July:

We moved into our new home outside of Stuttgart, Germany and shortly after we took our first European vacation to Salzburg, Austria.

August:

Avery started preschool taught by Ashley and a neighbor.

September:

We spent a wonderful week in Italy!

October:

Our little Tortoise and the Hare celebrated Halloween on a small scale this year

November:

We visited the magical Alsace region of France.

We were grateful for great friends and neighbors to share Thanksgiving with as we are away from family!

December:

We visited a few Christmas markets and enjoyed a quiet Christmas at home!  The day after Christmas we packed up the kids and drove to Switzerland with some friends for a few days.

We are excited for 2014 and the new adventures that it's bound to bring!
