This month {last year} we were partying hard! I pulled off a surprise party and 1st birthday party within a few weeks of each other, but it was so worth it!
First, my awesome friend Anna and I threw a surprise party for our husbands (whose birthdays are 2 days apart). I think we even surprised ourselves that the guys were truly surprised and that we were able to get it all done, considering we had to cook all the food and decorate the house in one day (as the guys were out playing) while we had 4 children under 4 vying for our attention!
{Anna has this awesome chalkboard wall in her house and she is so good at writing on it!}
{this was a man-candy bar cake with close to 60 candles}

{since our boys think they're funny and like to say puns, we added a few around the room}

{party people}
Party #2 was Grayson's first birthday...the very hungry caterpillar themed.
{my first fully fondant cake}
{we had all of the foods from the book}
{this little cutie loved the attention!}
{I love the chaos happening in this picture. We were so blessed to share this mile stone with some wonderful family and friends!}
{my very hungry caterpillar}
{Gray + daddy}
{this was before Gray fell off the chair mid us singing "happy birthday"}
{Kai + Avery}
{he went from this...
...to this in no time at all}
Happy Birthday to my boys! Now it's time to start planning for this year, but we'll miss sharing it with our family and friends!
