Stonehenge

After visiting Bath, we headed further south to Stonehenge, one of the worlds prehistoric sites. We made a slight detour along the way to drive by this horse on the hill. There are around 20 scattered through out England, some of which are first mentioned in the 11th century.

{It was a bit windy at Stonehenge...note Avery's hair}

{Jacob couldn't stop listening to the historical commentary long enough for this picture}

{It was a gorgeous day!}

Every time I see a picture of Stonehenge, I think of National Lampoon's Vacation where one of the stones gets bumped and they all fall down in a domino effect.
Great photos Ashley!!
