Julia & Darcy's trip: Oxford

Two weeks ago, Jacob's parents flew out to England for a visit before they headed over to France. We waisted no time after picking them up from the airport and headed straight to Oxford on our way home. With limited time, we were only able to see Christ's Church College (one of the Oxford colleges) which became a college in 1524, but parts of it were built back in the 12th century. The grounds and buildings were beautiful!

{Julia, Darcy, Avery & Jacob before we entered the college}

{walking the halls}

{the main quad, designed by Sir Christopher Wren...the bell in the tower tolls 110 times (the original number of students) every night to let the students know it's curfew}

{for all you Harry Potter fans, many scenes of the movie were filmed here, including here in the dining hall}

{This church is the oldest part of the college. I just love the ceiling details and the amazing architecture!}
