Julia and Darcy's trip: Bath

The Monday Jacob's parents were here, he had a "bank holiday" so we headed down to Bath and Stonehenge for the day. During the time that the Romans took over England, they created the city of Bath, a wealthy spa town with baths and a temple. The natural spring that filled the Roman baths still pumps water in them today. It was interesting to learn a little more about that time period.

{a rare picture of Avery and mommy}

{the fam}

(these pillers had a floor over them for the "sauna" room. Heat was pumped in through tunnels that lead to a furnace room. Servants would have to crawl under here to clean out all the ash ocasionally...what a horrible job!}

What a cute family! And I LOVE all your pictures. It's great to be able to visit all these places through your lense! :)

WOW....that water looks so inviting. I just want to jump in the green murky water and do a cannon ball! What kept you from doing it, Jake?

How do you know I didn't jump in!
