Wow, how time flies! I can't believe my little baby is already 5 weeks old, and growing so much! At her 4 week
appointment, she weighed in at a
whopping 8lbs. 9oz. and was 22 inches long!
She is much more alert during her awake time and is learning some new skills. She has started cooing with the sweetest little voice and this past week she has started to smile while she's awake (she's always smiled in her sleep). There have been a couple times when she's cooed and smiled at me in the middle of the night after I've fed her, which makes those early mornings totally worth it.
She absolutely loves her baths, I think she could stay in there all day. It has become our night time routine to calm her down during her fussy time so she goes to bed better, and it's been working (fingers crossed).
She really is such a sweet, content baby. Sure, she's found her voice, but most of the time she doesn't let her little temper flare. We are just loving our life as three and are so grateful for the blessing that Avery is in our lives. We couldn't be more in love!

thank you for the update! i want to come up so bad!!! schools starting back up tomorrow...but i need to figure out a time to come! kisses to the little beauty! :)
