I feel like I've been absent from the blogging world for a while...it's been a busy 2 1/2 weeks of church activities, doctors appointments, photo shoots and editing, and the occasional day at the fair. I'll try to catch up on a few posts of our activities.
I'm excited for that fall weather that has finally come today and all the possibilities that this season brings. I've been itching to decorate for Halloween, cook comfort food, buy pumpkins and mums, and pull on the long sleeved shirts, but with the previous 90 degree weather it's been hard to get into that spirit. I'm looking forward to fall parties (like the big youth activity in our barn that I'm in charge of for Halloween...any ideas?) and the opportunity to spend the first Thanksgiving with my family since we've been married. And maybe this fall weather will result in crisp "after work" walks with Jacob and more trips out to Larriland farm for apple picking (did someone say carmel apples!?). Oh, what the future holds!

I felt exactly the same way. I had been so excited for fall, but then the weather was in the 90s, so it still felt like summer. I didn't even want to turn my oven on when it was that hot.
I tried your recipe the other day for pasta with artichokes, sun dried tomatoes and ham. It was delicious.
