Sidekick

I can't even express how much I love this little girl.  She's my constant little sidekick.  And it hit me the other day that I only have a few more short weeks before it's not just the two of us at home, and although we are all so thrilled to welcome baby brother, it made me a little sad that I'd be losing this time in my life.
Avery has such a spunky personality and her constant commentary is hilarious!  Even at her naughty times Jake and I can't help but laugh a little.  She is so observant...we have to be very careful!  She can repeat instructions that I've given Jake to a T.  Her imagination has just blossomed and we usually have an imaginary kitty or baby that comes around with us everywhere.  She's girly, just like her mommy was at this age, and loves to wear any clothes with ruffles (she calls them her dancing clothes).
