I had big plans for this post, involving a video of Avery, and yet 5 weeks after I planned on posting I have yet to even film her and I'm not sure if I'll even get to it in the near future. So here it goes, without even a single picture (lame, I know!) The big news is I'm pregnant! I'm 17 weeks along (although I'm measuring more like 19) and we couldn't be more thrilled! We went through more of this to get to this point and after a lot of pretty bad complications, we found out that we had gotten pregnant on our own. Hooray! We find out the gender of our little bean in 2 short weeks...any guesses? Avery is very excited and has grasped the concept of a baby in mommy's tummy far better than I thought she would and sometimes tells the baby in the sweetest voice, "come on baby, come out."
I promise lots of pictures in the near future...we've had a busy summer!

HOOORAY!! That's so exciting! No wonder you've been so quiet all summer long! I'm super excited for you. Another girl would be totally cute...but then boys are awesome too! Can't wait to hear either way!

Even if this were a lame way of telling the world yours news (which it isn't) I'd be too happy to even notice it! I am so excited for you guys, especially knowing what a journey it is for you. I have to say that I am hoping for a girl for you. Being one of three girls and having three of my own I can't imagine my world without sisters, which you can probably relate to. Though my heart does melt a little when I see a little boy in a argyle sweater vests at church... Either way, this is wonderful news!
COULDN'T BE HAPPIER FOR YOU GUYS!!!! What wonderful news! In fact, when Scott got home tonight it was the 1st thing I told him! So exciting! Hope you're feeling well, and hope we see you soon!
