Since I've got a lot of catching up to do in the blogging world after a 2+ month absence, I thought I'd do a quick little update on Avery just in case I never get to it.
She has quite the little personality, like she always has, yet it's intensifying each day. She knows what she wants and what she doesn't want and will shake her head yes or no to questions we ask her. I'm not really sure if she always gives the right response. She also will go around saying "no" with her lips pursed (see picture #2) if she's not happy with a situation.
Her vocabulary is growing it seems like daily. She now says banana, berry, agua, bug, ball, mama, dada, doggy, more, uhoh, ow, night-night, yummy, hot, what's that, down, up, this, gone, yuck, ew, no, shoes, cheese, and cracker on a pretty regular basis.
At her latest doctors appointment, she was at the 25th% for head, weight and height, so she's still a little squirt.
She's good at picking up her toys, and likes to keep the doors and cabinets shut.
She still likes to show off, so if we laugh at something she does, she'll repeat it (which isn't always a good thing), but she's getting a little more shy when she first meets someone.

So good to see your new pictures, Ashley! Despite being in the 25th%-tile, Avery sure is one cute little squirt.....put her and Noah together and they'd make a cute little couple. We hope you and Jake are doing well! We miss you and love you guys!
