Paris- day 3

It's been a busy month, with lots of travels. But I feel like I can't post about all those trips before I finish everything we did in the past. So as we get ready to leave our home in England in a short 3 weeks, I am going to try my best to catch up.
So here it is...our last full day in Paris.
We headed to Musee d'Orsay. Built in the late 18oo's this museum was converted from an old train station. It holds the most wonderful collection of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings, including many from Monet, Degas, Renoir, Cezanne and Van Gogh. We could have spent so much more time in there.

{one of my favorite Monet's...I'm a little biased about Holland}

{I love this Degas!}

{We have this hanging in our house...alla Jacob}

{Van Gogh}
After leaving the museum, it was pouring rain and we were running out of time, so we took the train to the Eiffel tower for a quick stop and then headed home.
