She has an infectious smile and loves to be around people.
She's our little social butterfly. Her big blue eyes and smiley personality always get the attention of people wherever we go. On our train ride back from London this past weekend, she had two teenage boys engaged in a laughing game for a good 15 minutes.
She is also fiercely independent and knows exactly what she wants (can you say I'm in trouble when she's two...and what about those teenage years! Yikes!) She constantly wants to be sitting up now that she's learned to do that and tries to sit the whole time she's in the tub. She also thinks she should be able to eat everything and tries to sneak bites of whatever we're eating. If she doesn't want you to pat her head or snuggle her blanket by her face when it's time for naps, she'll let you know.
She still loves books and we have little reading sessions many times during the day.
She's very tactile and wants to touch everything, including each page as we read books.
She observes everything. I often get comments from strangers about how intense her eyes are.
She's a good little traveler, and although she doesn't like being in her carseat, once we're out and about she likes to watch everything that's going on.
She loves her food and we haven't found anything that she doesn't like yet.
She is pure joy! We love you little Avery Grace!

OH MY GOSH!!! She is just the cutest little girl ever!! I can't believe how much she has changed--that blonde hair!!
These really are awesome pics, Ashley!!!
miss you guys-
WOW...she sure has grown quickly and as always...has such a beautiful smile. We just can't believe that she's 6 months old and much less that she's only about 6 months younger than Noah. It just means that she can marry someone older like Ethan or someone her own age like Noah...she can take her pick :-)
I know she's a spitting image of Jake, but the second picture reminds me of you. She really is beautiful! These were some of my favorites...
Avery is gorgeous. What a blessing!
