Rewind

Let's rewind to two weeks before we made our journey out here to England...we made another trip out to Utah for 2 family reunions. The first was in Park City with Jacob's mother's family. We spent 4 days, eating, swimming, and enjoying each other's company.
We took a ride on the Alpine slides. Taylor and I raced Jake, and of course won!

We spent a day at Jordanelle.

Avery loved spending time with her cousins. At the first reunion we were staying in a condo with all of Jacob's family and every morning Jacob would take Avery into the living room while I got ready and her cousins would just surround her and line up to hold her. She loved the attention for about an hour, and I was surprised that her cousins never got tired of her.

My family reunion was pretty relaxed and we really just enjoyed spending time together at the new family home. It was wonderful finally seeing my dad's vision close to completion. Avery was blessed on our first afternoon there (pics. to come later) and we spent a little of each day on the boat. Unfortunately, I got sick on the first day so wasn't able to do everything.
Avery's first experience on the boat went over smoothly

We had one night were we had a "cowboy" meal and music.

The kids really enjoyed dancing to the Cowboy music
Cole tried water skiing for the first time, and at 3 years old he did an amazing time and stayed up as we made a loop around the cove.

And of course a family reunion wouldn't be complete without our own mini olympics...
egg racing

finding the bubblegum in a plate of whipped cream (fortunately the women didn't have to participate in this one)

And then we took some quick family pictures.
The grandkids first. With three babies under 7 months, it was a bit tricky

And the complete family...

We love our families!
