Avery is 1 week old today. She is really such a joy! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect baby. She sleeps and eats wonderfully, has periods of quiet alterness where she just stares at everything around her, and rarely complains about anything. She is such a peacefull baby and we are enjoying every moment!
She is very expressive with her mouth and hands. Her long fingers constantly move in a very dainty way. She has the sweetest dreams where she'll smile huge (I'll capture it one day). We're just so in love!
My sister-in-law, Jen did a full photoshoot yesterday and we are so blessed to have so many beautiful pictures of our little girl. I'll be posting them throughout the next couple days, it's really hard to choose favorites.

I'm so in love with that stripey hat! I think I'm going to have to knit one up! (and of course it's made even more cute by the baby wearing it! what is it with naked babies?? they're so dang adorable! how are you feeling by the way??)
she is so cute! I can't wait to see her this summer, I had so much fun visiting you. Have fun with your new baby girl and i will see you in a few monthes
