Spring Has Sprung

I have to say that this time of year is my absolute favorite! With it comes warm weather (we've been in the 80's for a few days now), beautiful flowers, the smell of freshly cut grass, and lighter food. The only thing I could do without are the creepy crawlies that I'm starting to find around the house. So, in my effort to enjoy the lovely spring has to offer, I've been taking walks with my sweet husband, with camera in hand (have to use this new lens!). I've been able to capture a few of my favorite spring sites.

(I was surprised at how clear the bumble bee came out in this picture, as it was hand held and a close zoom (you can see it better if you click on it) This is one bug that I actually enjoy...the bumble bee)
