Black Beans

One of my favorite things to add to a meal when we're having Mexican food is a pot of black beans. My sister Lindsey gave me this simple recipe, but it is so good!

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 onion, chopped
oil
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 - 3/4 cup chicken stock
salt

saute the garlic and onion in the oil. Add the beans, chicken stock, cumin and chili powder. Simmer until beans become saucy. Add the salt to taste. Enjoy!
