On our way from the beaches of the Nicoya Penninsula to Manuel Antonio, we crossed a bridge in Tarcoles where we were able to look over the side and see dozons of crocodiles. It was a little unsetteling to be standing on the bridge knowing that there are over 200 crocs per mile in that river and after reading the guide book which warned about leaning too far over the edge. On that drive we were also able to see a beautiful sunset.
