Our first day out of San Jose, we stopped at Poaz Volcano and hiked up to where we could peer into the opening. It was a very cloudy day and a little difficult to see, but a neat upclose experience with a volcano. On our way back down we stopped at the beautiful Poaz waterfalls, our first taste of Costa Rica.
